Technical
Specifications
The
device is powered by a 9V battery. The electrical
output of the device consists of square wave form
pulses. Pulse parameters vary with skin
impedance. During the pre-stimulation modem
testing from 0 to 100 kilohms gives the following
parameters: voltage 0.15-4 V, width 0.3-3.6
millisec and frequency between 200 Hz and 2.0
KHz. Pulses during the stimulation mode are 0 to
8 V with a frequency of 1.5 Hz. Pulses in this
mode also vary by the intensity setting. When set
at maximum intensity the current is 60 microamps
for 100 kilohms and 400 microamps for 10 kilohms.
At minimum intensity the stimulation current is
6-8 microamps between 10-100 kilohms. Maximum
peak pulse width is 300 milliseconds for the +
stimulation mode and 330 milliseconds for the -
stimulation mode.
